Oxford University and Stonehenge

Hi 5JS and everyone else.

We have been to Oxford where some of the scenes from the Harry Potter movies were filmed. Oxford University is built of a lot of colleges that have chapels and beds. The dining rooms are just like the Great Hall in the Harry Potter films. It is has a museum which is the home of Albert Einstein?s blackboard on which he wrote probably the world?s best known formula.

We have travelled around Scotland and have visited the Loch Ness and Edinburgh Castle. We have also seen the Falkirk Wheel and been on the York Wheel which is a ferris wheel half the size of the London Eye.

Last Saturday we visited Stonehenge a circle of large rocks that is over 3,000 years old. There have been three Stonehenges ? the first one was made of wood and then later one made of stone. There are many myths about why the rocks are there and how they got there.
